Welcome! My name is Joshua McManaway and I am a ham radio operator who holds an extra class license and the call sign AC9M (Alpha Charlie Niner Mike). I became a ham in July of 2025, passing my Technician and General exams back-to-back. I took my Extra exam in November of the same year, then received this call sign in March of 2026. I mostly operate using CW (Morse Code) from Potato Creek State Park in NW Indiana (US-2265). I am a professor at the University of Notre Dame, where I specialize in the history, culture, languages, and theology of early and medieval Christianity. My wife, Margaret, and I are originally from Raleigh, NC, but we live in South Bend, IN.
